VEXXIA DESIGNS
Vexxia didn't begin as a business plan. It began with one 3D printer sitting on a desk, a head full of ideas, and the feeling that maybe creating something was the only way forward.
Before Vexxia, I worked as a motion graphics designer, media server tech, and makeup artist. For a while, life was moving in an entirely different direction. Then COVID hit. After relocating from Southern California to Rhode Island, everything suddenly stopped almost overnight. Work disappeared, plans collapsed, and within months we packed everything back up and returned to San Diego to start over from scratch.
That rebuilding started with a single printer. Then another. And another. The second printer moved into the kitchen. Then printers started taking over countertops, bedrooms, garages, shelves, and eventually entire living spaces. Every available corner slowly became part workshop, part experiment lab, part shipping station, part studio.
At the beginning, there weren't giant dragon farms everywhere online. Most of what I created came from my own designs, my own testing, and countless hours teaching myself how to push machines far beyond what they were realistically supposed to do at the time. Some of the earliest pieces were gothic coffin designs created during a time when everyone said achieving seamless, high-finish consumer prints wasn't possible — but I made it happen. Every improvement came through failures, repairs, color testing, redesigns, and refusing to stop experimenting.
As the studio grew, so did the chaos. The house in San Diego slowly transformed into a full production space before I had to move to Orange County, where the process repeated all over again. More printers, more inventory, more shelves, more rooms overtaken by production. What started on a desk eventually expanded into one dedicated office space just to pack orders, and later a warehouse operation fueled heavily through TikTok Lives and online communities where launches would disappear almost as quickly as they were made.
Not every chapter of Vexxia has been easy. Vexxia has gone through massive highs, sudden setbacks, algorithm shifts, platform instability, warehouse expansions, and painful rebuilds. There were moments where everything felt like it was finally working — the warehouse, the lives, the growth, the nonstop orders — followed by moments where platforms changed overnight and entire systems collapsed underneath everything I had spent years building. Some chapters moved unbelievably fast. Others forced me to start over almost from scratch.
But rebuilding has become part of the story too — and the one thing that never disappeared was the need to keep creating. So the studio keeps evolving, I keep evolving, and somehow, through every version of it, Vexxia keeps finding its way forward.
Outside the studio, I've always been drawn to immersive worlds and visual storytelling. I love magic, fantasy, gaming, beaches, cities, arcades, theme parks, collectibles, strange hidden places, chaos, dark aesthetics, and the feeling of stepping into another reality for a while. That energy became part of Vexxia too. The dragons. The colors. The atmosphere. The livestreams. The studio. The community. Everything connected.
Today, Vexxia exists somewhere between fantasy studio, creator brand, collectible world, and constantly evolving experiment — built piece by piece through reinvention, survival, obsession, creativity, and the refusal to stop creating even when everything else fell apart.
